What if I say that sometimes luck does work? Will you ever agree with me? No, do not laugh in my face yet, give me a chance! :P
So the other day, I was trying to sell a tablet to a guy who was ready to give more money than asked for but the only problem was he wanted the item to be delivered to his house rather than him picking it up. First, I was elated, then once I thought about getting up, getting dressed, going to another place and then handing it over, I began to have mixed feelings. I felt lazy, I told him that I will get it done tomorrow and guess what happened! He turned out to be a fraud. That saved me a lot of heartbreak and circling around a place that probably wasn't the destination.
Not convinced? Let me tell you another one! I was running late for a class and was torn between skipping it and attending it as it was the first lecture of the semester. The professor was not ready to take the class online. After giving it much thought for a whole 2 minutes, I decided to ditch it as I was downright hungry and did not like the idea of fainting on the way. After a few minutes, I saw a mail crawl into my inbox saying that the lecture is both online and offline as many students could not make it! I was like come on!!!! Are you kidding me?
So maybe sometimes the unexpected may happen, it might not make sense as to why you made this decision. But, somewhere along the way, you will realize that you got randomly lucky (in little things) and believe it or not this happens more than you think it does, you just need to observe.
