Indian Style Potato sandwich

Ingredients

  1. Potatoes

  2. Onions

  3. Bread

  4. Oil

  5. Tomatoes/Tomato puree

  6. Green Chilis(optional)

  7. Peas(optional)

Spices:

  1. Salt

  2. Pepper

  3. Chili Powder

  4. Ginger garlic paste

  5. Garam Masala(optional)

  6. Cumin seeds(optional)

  7. Black Mustard seeds(optional)

Steps:

  1. In a nonstick pan add oil to heat up

  2. In a different container add potatoes and peas to boiling.

  3. When the oil in the pan is heated up add cumin and black mustard seeds to heat up.

  4. After a moment add the ginger garlic paste and finely chopped green chilis to the mix.

  5. Once the mix is sauteed enough, about half to a minute add the chopped onions.

  6. Once the onions are golden brown add the spices in and gently mix.

  7. Once mixed, add the tomato puree.

  8. Don't forget the potatoes in a container, take them out once boiled, and then be ready to peel and smash them.

  9. After enough smashing add them to the mix in the nonstick pan and after simmering for 10-15mins the filling is ready.


Toast some bread and add the filling and sauce that you like and be ready to enjoy!
