Chole Tomato Soup

Ingredients

  1. Onions

  2. Tomato puree

  3. Sesame seeds

  4. Chickpeas

Masala

  1. Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon

  2. Chilli powder - 1 1/2 teaspoons

  3. Salt - 2 teaspoons

  4. Pepper - 1 1/2 teaspoons

Steps

  • In a bowl pour about 100 grams of chickpeas and add water to it and let it soak through the night.

  • In a pan add oil and once warmed up, add finely chopped onions.

  • Once the onions are golden brown add tomato puree to the mix.

  • After about a minute add the soaked up chickpeas to the mix and half a cup of water.

  • Add the spices into the mix and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes.

  • Once done serve it in a bowl and add sesame seeds for garnishing.

  • Enjoy!
