Boring?

We often do not talk about what boring means to us. Is it the people? Is it the surroundings? Is it your own routine? It can be anything. It depends on how you look at the situation.

So, one of my friends who like to party wanted to come to my place to stay for a few days. We over here do party, but it is not always parties in clubs kind of thing. We have fun over the weekends and even during weekdays now by going out, trying new things, finding new places to eat, and planning for future trips. Does this sound very mature and old? I think so too! :P

So, while talking to one of my friends about inviting this former person over, she exclaimed saying that he might not have that much fun with us! We haven't been the party kind of people for so long. How do we entertain him? What if he doesn't like it that much here? This made me worry if that is true. What if I cannot be a good host? Then I called him up and asked him what kind of trip is he looking for. I was surprised by his answer. He said, "Does it really matter? I am coming to visit you and your place. I wanna look around. Meet up with your friends. Probably have food in a good restaurant or two. See if any good events are going around in the city.". I asked, "Then what about partying?". He said, "We can do that too. But that is not always the definition of fun for me! Fun is having a change of scenario. Every place has its own kind of fun. You just have to blend and look for it. "

Sometimes you are so worried about other people's definition of fun that you forget how interesting you yourself are and your life is. So show other people your concept of fun and let yourself be open-minded enough to learn their concept of fun! After all, when many concepts blend that is when life becomes much more "FUN" right?
